Choosing where to study after GCSEs is an important decision.
Selecting Budehaven Sixth Form is an opportunity to discover what you are capable of, develop your ambitions, and take confident steps towards the future you want, whilst being surrounded by staff who really care.
We are incredibly ambitious for every student who chooses Budehaven. Whether your next step is university, an apprenticeship, further training or employment, our commitment is to help you achieve the strongest possible outcomes while developing the skills, confidence and independence you will need beyond Sixth Form.
What makes our Sixth Form special is the personal experience we offer. We know our students well. We care about their progress, their aspirations and their wellbeing, and we notice when things are going well and when additional support is needed. You will be challenged to aim high, but you will also have a team around you who are genuinely invested in helping you succeed.
Sixth Form should also provide experiences that go beyond the classroom. Through enrichment and leadership opportunities, work experience, careers education and preparation for university and employment, we want every student to build a strong personal profile alongside their academic or vocational qualifications. We encourage our Sixth Formers to play an important role in the wider life of Budehaven and to become positive role models within our school community.
We want our students to enjoy being here. We want Budehaven Sixth Form to be a place where you feel known, valued and supported; where you make lasting friendships; where excellent teaching and personalised guidance help you make real progress; and where you leave us ready and excited for whatever comes next.
We are immensely proud of our Sixth Form and of the young people within it. If you choose Budehaven, we will invest in you, challenge you, support you and work alongside you to make your Sixth Form experience as successful, rewarding and memorable as it can be.
